As China universities accelerate their efforts toward internationalization, the collaboration of overseas talent has become a powerful driving force in enhancing educational quality and research capability. Due to this situation, Starway is actively building a professional talent introduction platform to connect more scholars and research experts from universities across Southeast Asia. This is for serving the diverse talent needs of China universities in key discipline development, cutting-edge research, and the cultivation of internationally oriented talents.
Through the dedicated “ASEAN Scientist Recruitment” initiative, we are committed to establishing an efficient talent-matching mechanism that brings together high-level professionals with global perspectives and strong academic backgrounds. This initiative supports China universities in building teaching and research teams with global competitiveness.

For the purpose of fulfilling the research project needs of China universities, Starway is precisely connecting the leading disciplines and distinguished faculty teams of Malaysian universities to jointly establish international research collaborations. By integrating high-quality resources and academic expertise from the teams, we promote cooperation in cutting-edge research, jointly undertake research projects, and share the resulting achievements.
On this basis, we actively build a collaborative innovation platform that integrates industry, academia, research, and application to facilitate the transformation of advanced research outcomes into practical productivity. As a result, we believe that we can empower industrial upgrading and support broader social development.
Joint Academic Program
In response to the growing trend of internationalization in higher education, Sino-foreign cooperative education has become an important pathway for cultivating globally competitive talents. Starway precisely connects China universities with relevant faculties and leading academic programs in Malaysian universities, comprehensively promoting the implementation of cooperative education projects at multiple levels.

Master Preparatory Program
Starway is leveraging its deep collaboration with Malaysian universities to offer more Master Preparatory Program to the students from China universities. This program is tailor-made based on the academic characteristics and talent development goals of our partner institutions in China, providing undergraduates with a convenient, efficient, and reliable pathway to study abroad.
Advantages of Master Preparatory Program:
- Green Pathway to Master’s: Students can apply directly to the partner universities’ master’s programs through an exclusive channel and start their studies after receiving the offer.
- Flexible Duration: The master’s program is 1.5 years in duration, with flexible specialization options. The curriculum balances academic depth with learning efficiency.
- High Graduation Rate: A well-designed curriculum and full academic support help students successfully complete their studies.
The Master’s courses we offer in these specializations include:
- Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM): Master in Renewable Energy, Master in Industrial Design Innovation
